Introduction – The Concept
Architecture is not only about walls and roofs — it is about storytelling.
The D.P House is a superhero-inspired pavilion that translates the bold, rebellious identity of Deadpool into spatial form. Through strong geometry, red-black contrast, and dynamic composition, this project explores how pop culture can shape architectural experience.
Design Inspiration
The project draws inspiration from Deadpool’s fearless personality and sharp visual identity — dominated by red, black, and high contrast elements. Architecturally, the reference project “13 Kamakura Home” by Cubo Design Architect influenced the horizontal composition, courtyard integration, and minimalist modern language.
Red = power, energy

Black = mystery

Courtyard = calm balance against chaos'

Spatial Experience
Exterior
Interior
Inside, dramatic red walls contrast with soft lighting and neutral furniture. Circular ceiling elements echo comic-book graphics, creating a playful yet immersive atmosphere.
Layout & Function
The layout is organized around a central courtyard, allowing natural light and ventilation while maintaining privacy. Public spaces face outward, while private zones are protected within the inner layers.
Architectural Identity
This project challenges traditional residential design by embedding narrative identity into spatial composition. Rather than designing a neutral house, D.P House embodies character — transforming architecture into a physical manifestation of personality.
